version 9.0.1 (2012-02-16)

Første opdatering af version 9 retter en række fejl:

• Cemeteries: Entering a place name would not populate the other corresponding fields on the page upon leaving the place name field (fixed).
• Citations: When searching for a source from the Add Citation dialog, the search field did not automatically receive the focus (fixed).
• Citations: Searching for sources on the Add Citation page would not find or display some sources if those sources lacked either a “long” title or a “short” title (fixed).
• Email: A PHP 5.2 function (“filter_var”) was used for email validation without checking to see if the function was supported (fixed).
• Email: Sending mail to users with the SMTP option enabled would throw an error for users upgrading from versions earlier than 8.1.3 (fixed).
• GEDCOM: The GEDCOM tab was showing on some pages when it wasn’t supposed to be showing (fixed).
• Geocoding: The geocoding feature would throw an error on installations using PHP 4 (fixed, but the geocoding will not work with PHP 4).
• Maps: Pins on and next to the maps would not work if they contained address data or line feed characters (fixed).
• Maps: Maps in the Admin area had shadows and rounded corners on the individual panes due to a CSS conflict (fixed).
• Media: Any attempt to save a media item of a custom type formatted like histories would pop up an error message saying that a path needed to be entered (fixed).
• Media: Items of custom types formatted like histories were showing the item title underneath the item text (fixed).
• Media: A slide show link would show for a group of media items even if none of them was an image (fixed).
• Media: If a photo’s “FORM” field (which should contain the file’s extension) was blank, photo previews would not work (fixed).
• Media: Thumbnails for images marked as “Always viewable” would sometimes not display (fixed).
• Media: Histories that previously contained both a file name and “body text” could not be resaved if the file name was removed (fixed).
• Media: Immediately after creating a new media record, the sections above “Media Links” will be closed to allow easier access to the Media Links section (those same sections will be open on subsequent visits to the page).
• People, Families: Some functions would not work when viewing the Edit Person and Edit Family pages in French, due to a message using an apostrophe being enclosed in single quotes (fixed).
• Places: The feature to merge all places into a single tree (or to back out of that arrangement) did not work (fixed).
• Settings: Saving the Template Settings page on some sites would cause all the template settings to be lost (fixed).
• Settings: The Site Description, Site Name and Site Owner fields did not always handle quotes and other special characters correction (fixed).
• Settings: Saving any settings page in one tab after having logged out in another tab or window would cause the settings file to be truncated (fixed).
• Special Characters: Adding a Country or a State (on the Cemeteries page) with special characters did not preserve those characters if the site was not using UTF-8 as the character set (fixed).
• Suggest: If a user visits the “Suggest” page while logged in, the user’s email address will now be prepopulated in both email fields.
• Templates: The “Welcome” message for Template 9 was actually pulling the corresponding variable from template 10 (fixed).
• Templates: Custom photos could not be uploaded for the newer templates if the server had a limit on the number of files that could be uploaded in a single form (fixed).
• Templates: Double quoted content on the Template Settings pages was invisible there after saving (fixed).
• Templates: Files could not be deleted from the “Select” window used to choose photos for templates (fixed).
• Users: New user accounts created from the readme.html page did not have full rights (fixed).
• What’s New: The log entry for this page showed “xx” as the number of days included in the report, instead of the actual number (fixed).

• Associations: Deleting a tree did not delete the associations linked to that tree (fixed).
• Branches: The Delete option under Labeling was letting you submit the form without entering a Person ID (fixed).
• Calendar: The Calendar page was not displaying the right people if the visiting user was assigned to a tree (fixed).
• Cemeteries: Sending a non-numeric cemetery ID to the showmap.php page was causing it to return all non-headstone media (fixed).
• Cemeteries: Clicking on the pagination links for a Headstone that was part of list not limited to a particular cemetery caused you to suddenly be “in” that cemetery (fixed).
• Dates: Dates were not being properly internalized if they contained slashes and had less than 4 digits in the year (fixed).
• Descendancy: The standard chart would not display properly if both parents in a family with children had the same gender (fixed).
• Import: The import was only grabbing the first letter of a custom TITL event (fixed).
• Import: In some cases names were being improperly imported (fixed).
• Media: Place names containing an ampersand (&) were causing problems when linked to media (fixed).
• Merge: Merging people was not causing Associations linked to those people to also be merged (fixed).
• Merge: The surname prefix was not shown as one of the fields you could select (fixed).
• Mod Manager: Problems occurred if you edited parameters that were in single quotes (fixed).
• Mod Manager: The Mod Manager code was not compatible with PHP 4 (fixed).
• Notes: Private notes were sometimes not being imported as private (fixed).
• Notes: Notes attached to sources were generating an error message when exported to a gedcom file (fixed).
• People: The Reset button on the page showing changes ready for review did not work (fixed).
• Places: Standard events on the “Place” page (placesearch.php) were sometimes being duplicated (fixed).
• Privacy: The search results and relationship pages were sometimes showing an individual as “Living” even when the user had rights to see the name (fixed).
• Privacy: “Private” individuals were still showing on the Place (placesearch.php) page (fixed).
• Users: Users who were assigned to a tree and who had rights to see living info were not permitted to see living detail in the “Linked to” column on the Media pages (fixed).

• Albums: Users who were assigned to a tree could not edit an album even if they had appropriate rights (fixed).
• Events: Users with Editor rights were not able to delete custom events in some cases (fixed).
• Export: Note lines that consist only of an ID (eg, “@NI123@”) will no longer be escaped with double at signs.
• Export: The PHON, EMAIL and WWW values were being exported with the CTRY tag by mistake (fixed).
• Export: Exported files will now end with a line ending character (after the TRLR marker).
• General: The inclusion of the standard style sheets has been moved out of the meta and custom meta files.
• Import: Longitude and latitude values can now be imported from a regular PLAC instance (eg, “2 PLAC…/3 MAP/4 LONG…/4 LATI…”).
• Media: The Random Photo utility will now be able to display other media types (besides photos) by passing in the new type as a URL variable ($rp_mediatypeID).
• Media: The Image Map feature was broken in v8 (fixed).
• Notes: Long notes in the “general notes” sections on the individual page will now be shown with a scrollable area in the “Personal Information” block. The General Settings can be used to change this back to the way it was previously if desired.
• Notes & Citations: These are now sortable (using drag and drop). Unfortunately the sorting does not survive if the data is re-imported.
• Pedigree: The text-only chart had “holes” in the lines when the individuals on the chart had no vital information listed (fixed).
• People: The preview window for individual data was not always displaying spouses in the correct order (fixed).
• People: The parent-child relationship indicators will now use internal values, to allow them to be translated to other languages when displayed.
• People: Modifiers (like “Aft” or “Bef”) in the “birth-death” dates under a person’s name at the top of the page were not working in any language besides English (fixed).
• People: When children were listed on the Edit Person page, their birth dates were not displayed (fixed).
• People: The “exact match” search in the Admin/People area was not working (fixed).
• Relationship: An extra prefix message ($text[‘ggreat’]) was added to support languages in which “great” is different for aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces (vs. grandparents).
• Relationship: If no relationships are found between person 1 and person 2, the two individuals will now be swapped and the process will be run again.
• Relationship: If the relationship between two people passed through a family with only one spouse, no relationship was returned (fixed).
• Repositories: The Edit link on the public repository page was broken (fixed).
• Security: The “globalization” of all GET & POST variables has been moved to a new file called “processvars.php”, and that has been moved up so it gets called before the configuration files is read.
• Templates: Templates may now be swapped without uploading any files or losing any customizations.
• Users: A new user’s username & password were not being removed from the “approved” message if that was selected in the General Settings (fixed).
